Quick answers
Getting started
How do I create an account?
Download SHAYLA from the App Store or Play Store, open it, and tap Sign up. You can register with your email address or with one of the supported sign-in providers.
I can't sign in. What should I try?
Make sure you're on the latest version of the app and have a working internet connection, then try again. If you used a sign-in provider to register, make sure you're picking the same account. Still stuck? Email us with your username and we'll dig in.
What age do I need to be to use the app?
You need to meet the minimum age required by the App Store or Play Store in your country to download SHAYLA. The age rating on the store listing is the source of truth for your region.
What countries is the app available in?
SHAYLA is available wherever the App Store and Play Store list it. If you can install the app from your store, you can use it.
Using the app
How does AI try-on work?
Pick an outfit or pose you like in the feed, then apply it to a photo of yourself. Our AI generates a new image showing you in that look, usually within a few seconds. Outfits and poses can be combined — try a look from one creator with a pose from another and see what happens.
Can I use my own photo for try-on?
Yes. You can use a photo from your camera roll or take a new one in the app. Clear, well-lit photos where your face and body are visible tend to produce the best results.
My generated image looks off — can I redo it?
AI generation isn't perfect every time. If a result doesn't land, you can regenerate with the same inputs or tweak the source photo or outfit and try again. Each generation uses credits, so consider adjusting before re-running.
What's a look book?
A look book is a collection of outfits and generated images you've saved or created. Publish one to share your style with the community; keep it private and it's just for you. You decide what goes in and who can see it.
Privacy and permissions
Who can see my photos and outfits?
Source photos you upload for try-on are private to you by default — they're never published to the feed unless you explicitly share a generated image or add it to a public look book. You can review and manage what's visible from your profile in the app.
What does SHAYLA do with my photos?
Photos you upload are used to power features inside the app — generating outfit previews and pose transfers. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers. You can delete your images at any time. The full details, including how we process and store your data, are in our Privacy Policy.
Why does the app ask for camera and photo access?
Camera access lets you take a new photo for try-on without leaving the app. Photo library access lets you pick an existing photo to use as a source image. SHAYLA only reads the photos you explicitly pick — it doesn't scan or upload your library in the background.
How do I delete my account or my data?
See Delete your account for full steps — in the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, or email support@shayla.app from your account's email address.
Credits and purchases
How does pricing work?
The app itself is free to download and browse. Generating outfits and pose transfers uses credits. New accounts get a small signup bonus to try things out, and you can buy additional credit packs as in-app purchases through the App Store or Play Store.
Do my credits expire?
Credits you've earned or bought stay in your account — they don't expire on a timer. Your current balance is always visible in the app.
Can I get a refund on credits?
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by the App Store and Play Store under their own policies — request them through your store account, not through us. If your credits didn't land after a purchase, email support@shayla.app with the receipt and we'll sort it out.
Safety and support
How do I report a user or content?
Tap the menu on any post or profile and choose Report. Pick a reason and add a short note if you can. Reports go to our moderation team and are reviewed without revealing who reported what.
Can I block another user?
Yes. From a user's profile, choose Block. Blocked users can't see your posts and you won't see theirs. You can manage your block list any time under Settings → Privacy.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email support@shayla.app with a short description, your username, your device and OS version, and a screenshot if you can. The more we know, the faster we can fix it.
