Here's what you can wear. Three office looks that still feel like you at six o'clock.
The office asks for two things at once: look like you take the job seriously, and get through a day of chairs, stairs and air conditioning. These three do both without turning into a uniform.
Wear this when the dress code says smart and nobody knows what that means. An unstructured navy blazer that wraps across the front, a white knit polo, wide grey trousers and clean white leather trainers. Sharp in the meeting, and no stiff shirt all afternoon.
Go tonal when you want to look put together without trying. A ribbed knit with a draped collar and wide pleated trousers in the same chocolate brown, with brown suede loafers. One colour reads as a decision, even on a Tuesday.
For the office that is really a studio. An olive cotton overshirt with oversized patch pockets and a curved hem, over a plain crew-neck tee, straight stone chinos and brown leather boots. Relaxed, but every piece is doing its job.
